Crucial does not currently sell 1024MB DDR memory sticks of RAM. Some DDR motherboards can support up to 3GB of memory (3 sticks of 1GB per stick of RAM). Since this amount of RAM is typically only needed in server environments, most 1GB sticks also support ECC error checking. Here is list of 1GB DDR RAM. ECC DDR RAMECC (also known as Registered RAM) stands for Error Correction Control and is required by some systems, typically servers. If you are unsure as to what your motherboard requires, try our RAM Finder, and select which type of computer or motherboard you have.
